As a lifelong Toronto Maple Leaf fan (and not all of our Steam Canada employees are!) it is a ritual for me that when the Leafs, inevitably, get knocked out of the playoffs I cheer for the other Canadian teams.

As the conference finals get started I am left cheering for the Ottawa Senators.  The Sens will face the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are coming off a hard fought seven game series with the Washington Capitals, the defending Cup champions.  It will not be easy.

This article attached from SB Nation says the Senators have reached the conference finals in a season of “complacency”.  I think it is a little harsh but it is a good read.
